Getting Started with Base Camp

What is Base Camp?

Base Camp is the online platform where you access all your Pathways materials, track progress, and plan your learning journey. Think of it as your personal dashboard for the Pathways program.

Getting Access

  • Login Credentials: Get your username and password from Gloucester Speakers club officers
  • Access Options: Works on computers, tablets, and smartphones
  • Offline Use: Download materials to use without internet connection

Having trouble logging in? Contact our VP Education for assistance with your Base Camp credentials.

First Steps

1. Take the Assessment (Optional)

  • What it is: 15-20 questions about your goals and interests
  • Time needed: About 10 minutes
  • Result: Personalized path recommendations
  • Note: You can skip this and choose your own path

2. Choose Your Path

  • Review Options: Browse all 11 available paths
  • Consider Goals: Think about what skills you want to develop
  • Make Selection: Pick your starting path (you can change later)

Key Base Camp Features

  • Dashboard: Shows your current project, progress, and completed work
  • My Path: All projects in your chosen learning path
  • Resources: Download project instructions, evaluation forms, and templates
  • Progress Tracking: Visual display of your advancement through levels

Always download and print project materials before club meetings in case of technical issues.

  • Project Instructions: Clear requirements and objectives
  • Evaluation Forms: For your assigned evaluator to use
  • Resource Materials: Templates, worksheets, and guides
  • Timing Guidelines: Speech lengths and time limits
